Oh my gosh--I can't believe that there are only 6 chapters of this to go! Holy crap! Where has all the time gone?! I thought posting every-other-day, and a story longer than History, would stretch this out forever. I was wrong! LOL!

Ohmygosh. I am so fascinated by Elijah. He is just so charming and perfect and just... delicious. They should have cast him as Klaus. He would have been sinisterly perfect. But instead they cast that other guy, who as far as I can tell really has no redeeming qualities. (Not even as an actor, sad to say...)

So happy you like the Elijah/Damon interaction! Thank you!!

I completely agree with you regarding Klaus and the actor they chose to play him. I was so underwhelmed, especially considering the build up the character recieved. I wasn't sold on him as the Big Bad until the very end of the finale and even then, it was a bit of a push.

Elijah on the other hand...!!

The one thing I was disappointed with in the development of his character though was that they (the writers) seemed to tone him down the more the season went on (perhaps to make up for the lack of clout that Klaus really had!!). I mean, he came into the show as the ultimate BAMF and by seasons end had been betrayed, double crossed and KILLED countless times. Which is NOT the makings of a true BAMF!

And I guess that just means there is more to Elijah than they initially gave us, but yeah, the reason I enjoyed him so much in the beginning was because he seemed so ruthlessly awesome! Now? Not so much... :(

But that's the magic of fic though!

Thank you!!! I'm a huge Elijah fan. And his reveal is a good one, at least, I thought it was! LOL! I had a great time writing it. I was just delighted to bring Elijah into the story. I wanted to do it a lot sooner, but it took a while to get the story to the point where I could do it. But I missed him while he was gone! LOL!

Thank you!!! While I was writing, the next chapter just kind of flowed for me. It was so convoluted and crazy and it just tied up a million different things, but it was such and easy chapter to write. I hope it all makes sense and it's an enjoyable one! I guess we'll find out soon enough, huh? LOL!

Thank you so much!!! OMG--Elijah is just all class and awesomeness, isn't he? I also hope Kevin and Julie bring Elijah back next season. It just wouldn't be "the season of the originals" without him! He's just too perfect. And besides--Klaus is annoying. There, I said it. He's a horrible actor and he's not even good at being a villain. (Though I'm willing to let him convince me otherwise--start trying, Klaus!)
