Thank you!! I love classy, classy Elijah. He's so graceful. You expect to see him riding horseback wearing big poet sleeves with a sword hanging from his belt. The man just exudes old-world charm. Not like his dopey brother, who isn't charming or even fun to hate. He's just insanely dull in comparison.

But maybe that's part of what makes him evil? ;)

i agree i find Elijah much more interesting than Klaus, i really hope we see more of him in season 3.

ELIJAH!!! YAY!! Do tell, Elijah, do tell! This almost makes up for the loss of Anna. Almost. You've got Elijah down pat and awwww, Elena's got a little crush! I loved the transfer of their chemistry from the show into your fic! Also, protective Damon is the best! He makes my heart go all kablooey! Can't wait to finally hear the full story (at least, to Elijah's knowledge) behind the curse in the next chapter!

LOL! It was so nice to (FINALLY!) bring Elijah into the story. I'd been planning it forever--I'd been ALLUDING to it forever--but to finally actually have him back was great. And I'm so glad you like how he's written... He's such a wonderful character I would hate to do him anything less than 100% justice. So thank you!!

I'm with you, too--protective Damon is absolutely adorable. I was writing it and I was like, "Aww... I'm a little fluttery." LOL!
