I just said something on my journal about how native Floridians never take hurricane warnings seriously.

And have been through tons, A Cat1, when we are inland aren't a biggie... it MIGHT reach cat 2. Whatever, I am stocked up with water/food/supplies.

You've lived here a long while though, huh? I'm native. Born in South Florida...and I'm using a space heater in my office right now b/c it's f-ing 72 degrees and I can't stop shivering. I think the Florida heat has definitely affected my ability to withstand temperatures below 75 Fahrenheit (in addition to the hurricane complacency)
