I thought Umphrey's was done with Knoxville now that they've outgrown our smaller venues but YAY! This was a nice cap to a great day.

Wow I have been swamped with classwork this week. April is going to be hell, according to the syllabi. I have to start working on my final project for cartography and my research paper for natural hazards, for which I have yet to pick a topic (outline due Wednesday.) Wow did we have a fucking blast last night. We left Knoxville around 7 and got to Nashville with perfect timing, the show started like 15 minutes after we got there, if that. The venue was awesome. It was called City Hall and was an old abandoned warehouse turned club. Really neat looking inside. And spacious. Knoxville needs a place like that ( Read more... )

Wow I sent my iPod off Friday for service. Apple quotes a two week return if you don't want it re-engraved and a four week return if you do want it re-engraved (which of course I do.) No matter what the issue is with your iPod, they send you a completely new one. They got it Monday, diagnosed the issue, and it is already on its way to me! Oh how I ( Read more... )

Walker's mom called us the other day to tell Walker that as kind of part of my birthday present they were going to take us on a cruise either this thanksgiving or christmas break. Birthday plans are set. Walker and I are going to spend the weekend in ATL. moe. is playing the Fox Theatre the Friday night of my birthday (March 3) and they're playing Saturday night too. Today has been an exciting day! Initial artist lineup was released for Bonnaroo 2006 as well as ticket info. They are going on sale a week from this Saturday! Seems a lot earlier than last year...it is probably going to sell out too because it is getting so popular but they are reducing festival capacity by about 10,000 tickets.
