me too, it's been 3 days now, but I think it's not a bad as it was yesterday, so hopefully it'll pass in another coupe of days.

I read this before and a possible explanation occurred to me. Could it be that the nuts were rancid? I had a science class with a personal nutrition focus, and the professor talked about rancid oils entering the system and spreading to other oils metabolized by the body. The "rancid" taste is easy to sense once you've identified it. It has a bitterness, an acrid taste and it's "heavy". If that's it, it won't last long.

But I always get the "Found a Peanut" song as an earworm, when I find a bad nut.

i have been trying to figure out what I could have eaten that had nuts in it. I had read the same thing, that and pine nuts originating from China. The bitter aftertaste is centered on the back of my tongue, it seems to not be as strong as it was yesterday so I am hoping it's starting to pass.

Hmmm. I know the taste you are talking about. I bought a can of the Marcona almonds recently and there were a few bad ones. You ever eat peanuts from the shell and get a "bad" one? Kinda burnt, bitter tasting? At least 3 or 4 times while working my way through those almonds I got a nasty one. Ick. But it went away as soon as I rinsed out my mouth, so I don't know... Is it a metallic taste?
