I think there are maybe 2~3 people who update lj anymore. Rather sad really. I remember when LJ was big and I connected with people through that. A written public journal tells a lot more than 140 char status updates on twitter/facebook... Meh

It's not just the character limit on fb that is annoying but that you get like 300 updates per day on the news feed. I can't keep up.

I keep up with the ones I care about... Granted, some doesn't come through regardless since they have their settings locked.
