Afro-cuban music

It's really strange, these days I'm listening to salsa stuff. And I must say Ruben Blades is great...

I must be ill or something.

ha ha I feel less alone !
actually I'm really thinking of recording a cuban-style song, with a very dark crooning voice over it... Sort of Barry Adamson-like withs lots of congas... That could work ha ha

that would kick- as I need to re-record that re-mix vocals for you again. Computer crashed lost the tracks- so sorry- I didn't forget!

well, don't worry about that... I had understood there was trouble at some point. The album has been finished and released actually, I realize I didn't tell you about it :-(

Salsa and mambo always were quite popular in france, I recall hearing that stuff on the radio since I was a child, that's how I got exposed to songs like "Pedro Navaja" or "La Caina" by Ruben Blades, lots of Tito Puente stuff too... But I didn't think I would ever want to listen to that kind of music again someday.

Ah non mais c'est la fin des macarons là, si PY se transforme en latino-band, je n'ai plus qu'à me trancher une burne pour en faire un gâteau apéritif. Et personne ne pourrait cautionner une telle chose, convenons-en.
