darkness falls

In case any of you weren't aware, yesterday the entire northeast experienced what was apparently the, "biggest blackout in North America's history". Me being in NY, I was among those affected ;\. The day wasn't bad however, t'was quite fun actually. Since there was no power anywhere around here, you could actually see the stars in the sky. OMG ( Read more... )

i only saw one star before it got really dark.. thinking about it, it could have been Mars. im sad i didnt see any when i had the perfect chance too :\

hah thats the coolest story ive read in a while. i wish i took that much advantage of the black out instead of just sitting in my friends basement

Ehh I know what ya mean though, generally when there's a black out I just stare at the wall or something :\, I'm painfully overstimulated/too much of a geek, heh.

HAHAHA holy crap ^^;; that got pretty interesting.

The stars were VERY pretty! and we cant see them normally because of Ambient light. its kind of like a layer of light over the sky.

and yeah! i saw Mars too XD Jimmy like... wouldnt believe me that it was a planet! *giggles*
