Legend of Korra Trailer
Okay. I'm excited.
I found a trailer for Legend of Korra. And it looks awesome.
First of all, it's really interesting to note how much the architecture has changed between The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra.
Really, look at the old...
...and the new.
Not only are there skyscrapers (and a suspiciously familiar looking bridge), but I think I saw a stoplight.
On a completely different note, I thought it was interesting that, in the trailer, we never saw Korra earthbending. By this point she’s already learned waterbending, earthbending, and firebending, and presumably in that order. In ATLA, Aang had the most trouble learning earthbending, partially because it was his opposite element. So it's interesting that the element she seems to be most comfortable with is fire. Throughout the entire trailer, that's the element we see her using the most.
In an extremely badass manner, it must be said.
Of course, a lot of the time she seems to be wearing this odd red outfit, so my current theory is that she’s moonlighting as a plain firebender and going out at night to fight crime.
…or not.
