I have a nagging feeling that I have things I meant to post about, but I can't remember what they were right now. So right now you get an announcement about me being back in civilization. (Yay, consistent internet access!)
Well, technically, I've been in civilization for about a week, but it didn't feel real until I got back into dorms, so here's

Have you kept up with your D&D campaign, or plan to restart it once you're back at school? It sounded like fun, and I liked hearing about it. :)

We lost our wizard last semester to graduation, but Chucky and Dave are both joining. (I’m a little nervous about having players who know so much more about it than I do, but I think it’ll work out well. They’re both nice enough to be tactful if I screw up.)
I got a bit better at dealing with combat in my summer campaign, so they are slightly more likely than the party was last semester to actually run into it, although I liked the low emphasis on combat, so I might just keep the level about the same unless the party goes seeking it out.

Both of us have house ruled on core material we didn't like; and both of us have dealt with players holding up the session to explain to us why we are wrong. Technically I cannot speak for Dave, but we're likely to be sympathetic and easily shut down if we start wrangling too much.

To ask you (I feel like I've asked you this before, but I forgot!): Where do you go to school? What do you study? What is your favorite ATLA pairing? :D
To tell you: Thank you for your good critique on my work! I really appreciate it ♥

Where do you go to school?
I go to school on a small campus with about the proper tree:student ratio. It’s peppered with hipsters and people who don’t understand memes. Most of the people here are fairly friendly-it is, after all, the Midwest. It’s a religious school, which makes me (an atheist) rather an odd fish; it’s actually led to some very interesting discussions. (I do mean discussions, not arguments. It helps that I don’t provoke people, but for the most part it’s been discussions of “this is what I think about morality and why. How did you reach your thoughts about it?” “Well, I pondered the well-known question about evil and decided [blah].” “Huh! I remember discussing that in a class, but I came to [conclusion X] instead!” It’s actually pretty neat.)
Sorry about my paranoia-driven non-answer; hopefully this was more interesting than just a name and a place, though.
What do you study?I’m majoring in Computer Science and English. People keep asking me what I want to do with it, and I ( ... )
