The Semi-random City Expiriment

Some people may remember my previous posts about ContextFree. I have found yet another way to have fun with it.

I was just messing around making pretty pictures when I realized that some of the pictures vaguely resembled city maps.

Thanks! I spend a lot of time doodling city maps, so maybe I'm just predisposed to look at stuff and think "hey, that's a city!" It helps that this one in particular has a few similarities to one of the cities I've lived in. Its downtown region (the area with the denser amount of dots and lines) and the outlying areas are roughly equivalent to those of my hometown, though the river would be in a completely different part of the map and there's no lake.
