funny. just got done speaking with my roommate and she may be leaving the city for a year and wants someone to take over some of the (already cheap) rent here so she can keep the apartment and the cheap rent...but it has to be someone who's willing to keep the good vibe of the apartment too (ie, relatively clean and candle-y smelling). I'm thinking about sticking it out here after touring if I can get the right job or internship (supplemented by a waitressing gig, of course). $500 a month for Manhattan rent in a very pretty apartment ain't too shabby now, is it?
