Seen four films for BIFF so far! Hair India was pretty interesting - people offering their hair at temples for sacrifice, then it being sold to Italian companies who sell them to hollywood celebrities... 24 inch long wefts!
Went to see STORAGE with uni people, which was directed by a qut graduate/one of my tutors(a consult session). Gruelling process, hearing him talk about it, it makes you want to jump off a cliff than try to get a film made here... But his session sold out, so he was pretty stoked, and his film is 4th in the top 10 so far at BIFF. I talked to Tony Luu, the cinematographer, and he was so cool and down to earth. And I just found it hilarious - he liked my outfit and asked me where I got my shoes from :p
got my cammmmm. I am still trying to learn the functions of my camera. I suppose, next pay, I'll pick up a tripod? hm.
