Thank you. Once you get the hang of it, a six-word story isn't really too difficult. The idea is to conjure up an image that suggests a much larger story attached to that single snapshot.

There were some really fantastic ones in this fandom way back when, but I just couldn't find them to point to. Argh! It's amazing how poignant some of them can be.

The apocryphal story is that Hemingway wrote a six-word story and considered it his best work. Whether the story is true or not, the story still is incredibly effective.

Ooo, these are great! All of them say a lot without many words...which I find particularly impressive and stand in awe of b/c I have a bad habit of writing a lot of words that don't say anything.

Oh thank! I'm infamous for using too many words, too, so it's quite an exercise in discipline for me to write drabbles or these little six-word stories.
