Month Five Update for 101 Things in 1,001 Days

Jan 01, 2022 14:04

December was a difficult month for me. I’d like to say I ended the year on a high, productive note, but that would not be true. I struggled a lot and my progress suffered as a result. A combination of my usual doldrums in the winter months and an emotional ricochet from the autumnal cancer scare. Still, all was not lost, not by any means.

Let's see how I did with my goals in December, shall we? )

I'll give you a Hip Hip Hooray....And understand the melancholy madness at this time of year...have found some in my own pocket and were only a few weeks into winter, not sure if it's because i am pulling off my blue uniform soon or the seemingly constant rain....i am working out in. As always take care and a good year ahead.

The winter melancholy is a real thing, all right. I hope yours is not bad this year. Maybe looking forward to retirement will help with that?

Ugh to the constant rain and dreariness. It doesn't help any, does it?

Wishing you a good 2022.

Thanks, although I confess it didn't feel like a very productive month to me. Not much progress shown, but I did write a story (okay, I finished a story), which was a huge accomplishment.

But you made it. You are still standing tall, and we all have nothing but love and respect for you. You, my dear, kick ass.

Awww, thank you for those incredibly kind words. I am still standing - barely - and that is what counts.

Thank you.

I saw that cartoon you posted initially and laughed. Yeah. Rather grim but true.
