Reading, Reading, Reading - Book Bingo 2022

Yeah, I figured since I have spent much of this year so far reading the Wheel of Time series, I figured I might as well track it via the Book Bingo. Yesterday I finished book 4 in the series, The Shadow Rising, which is one whopper of a book. It was also an amazing and excellent read. I absolutely LOVED Book 4, the best one so far. I'm wondering how in the world he's going to top this one, honestly. So much happens here, I just can't imagine what the rest of the series will be like. I know you'll thoroughly enjoy your re-read.

I'm taking a little break before tackling #5. And I can see where a read of this series could easily take a year!

This last one was very intense, so many new characters and other things to remember. It feels like everything, even the slightest mention, is foreshadowing of what is to come, and therefore one has to remember every last detail. This is a series that deserves re-reading over and over, to wring every last morsel out.

I found only one community (over on DW) and a few new friends for WoT, but I'm so eager to have someone to discuss with.

On to you - did the weekend of cleaning and sanitizing go well in the end? I'm hoping you are back in your own home now. I think it will be healthier for you after all this.

Oh goodness! Do you see yourself rereading it at one point? With how far along you are in the series it seems like you read pretty fast!

I wouldn't say it went well, but at least it's over! I spent most of yesterday cleaning after the cleaning people. xD Still not finished (a couple of other things need to be done), but overall I'm just happy that part is over!

Oh, I will absolutely re-read these books, probably more than once. That's why I decided to buy rather than borrow from the library.

Poor old LJ, it's getting a little lonely around here, isn't it?

Well, I'm glad that at least the sanitizing is done. I would think things are a little cleaner and safer for everyone, including the pups. I bet they were happy to get back home. Having them in the hotel room must've been a little nervewracking.
