Bwahahaha! The best? That's one of the most flattering things anyone has ever said to me. I can't imagine there are very many people who think that, though, compared to the real talent in the SW slash fandom. I'm only involved in the Han/Luke side of things anyway, which is an extremely small subset (and I don't understand why that is) of Star Wars slash.
Er, moving right along--
At any rate, welcome to the wonderful world of SW slash! Isn't it exciting to discover a new fandom? So much goodness to track down. Elusive Lover is a marvelous source of excellent fic, if you've not already discovered it. caryn_b also has a website with terrific fic here. Incidentally, all of my SW stories can be found on luminous beings, save one which is posted here on my LJ.
I must warn you that there is currently little fannish content in my journal; real life has gotten rather interesting of late. But you are welcome to read and be bored, just like the rest of my flist. ;)

Ah, but the only slash coupling I like in this fandom IS Han/Luke. (as much as I adore Liam Neison, Qui-Gon does nothing for me. He's too monk-like for me to believe there was ANY sexual tension between him and Obi...)
Ah! Well in that case you have come to the right place. Feel the Han/Luke love! I just saw on the mailing list that you like AU stories. I've been fiddling off and on with a new AU (well, one started ages ago but stalled out), so gee, perhaps your presence will prove inspirational. :)
I do not know this witty and clever wordsmith of whom you speak! Methinks you should look in the mirror. ;)
Egads, how will I ever live up to that kind of advance press? Still, you're quite welcome to come and be bored along with everyone else, if you so choose.
First off, I want to say that I love your work. Your Star Wars stories were some of the first stories I found when I went looking for slash, and they remain my favorites of the fandom.
These days, when I'm not hanging with the boys in due South, I am glorying in the good ol' days with Illya and Napoleon. Imagine my surprise when I found you there too! (and yes, of course I get the meaning of the journal name, and I own the box set *eeeee*).
I am finally getting around to friending people who's work I admire, so I have friended you. I hope that is ok. I would be thrilled if I were friended back, but will understand if you choose not to.
If you want to know more about me, my last post on my blog is the personal meme that was going around. I am sadly rather long winded. As you can see by this. Sorry. I think this is me being a gushing fangirl, I get nervous and talk to much when I meet someone I really admire (and it's late).
What a flattering message to wake up to. Thank you for your kind words.
It's funny how one starts in one fandom, thinking this is the only one I'll ever love - and before you know it, there's a second, and a third, and so on. I just bought the Due South dvds, but haven't dug into them yet. Some amazing fic in that fandom, and I was curious to see the source.
MFU is my big obsession du jour, even though I've not been exceptionally active in fandom the last year or so. But what I do myself, I reckon it's dreadful! ;) But better than poor Muriel.
I am friending you back, but as I say in this post, there really isn't much going on inside. All the fic is public so all you're gaining is my personal whining. *g*
Hey there! LOL! It reminds me of MFU in more ways than one - they also had a mysterious mission in Hong Kong, with many of the same scenes. I 'spect the guy who wrote that is also an UNCLE fan.
So how is you on this very last day of 2010?? Getting over the traditional crud, just in time to go back to work?

Focused a lot on helping my niece (she's 18 now!!! WAIT- WHAT??!!), as she's just had her heart broken by her first serious boyfriend. *sigh*
Now comes the long long winter...and if it must reach Hoth proportions, let's hope there's some snuggley fanfic to go with. :))
