Thank you for sharing that with me. I think your father would have been exceedingly proud of you.
My father was one of the walking wounded and I knwo that much of his behavior was due to his incarceration during the War. SO today, I also must say that I am honored to be my father's daughter. All of us must take the time to thank those that fought, survived and/or gave their lives for others out of duty. Let us not forget that each day we lose many of the men that fought in WWII and soon they will be part of history. But now, while we still have them, ask any older man if he served in The War,shake his hand and thank him - before he is in Flanders Field.
