So that happened.
I must say, I'll bet the boys had a blast with this particular episode. Especially Jensen with the amount of fanboy he had to pull off in this episode. I always knew that Dean was a little fangirl on the inside.
On that note, freaking hilarious as hell to watch Dean and Sam have their squee moment over Samuel Colt's journal. It was like watching my and my best friend go at it over pictures of a hot guy. Or something along those lines. Like if we found something of Misha's lying around somewhere. And Dean is a sci-fi nerd. This makes my life. (and I totally got his reference)
Good stuff back in the Old West, and funny as hell to watch Dean totally get his dreams blown when they all looked at him like he was crazy. And Jared on a horse was priceless. As hell.
OMG there was Cas-whump in this episode! You have no idea how excited I was! That's like... one of my favorite things ever. I shall have to go read some now that the episode is over, I've had some hankering for it anyway, and this episode just made it better.
"Just don't explode me." - Bobby, that is the best line. I giggled. And Cas being like "I have to touch it" was funny too, for completely different reasons. Kind of like Dean and his 'posse' joke that just kept going. Same giggle.
I don't know about anyone else, but I sure as hell want to know what the heck is going on with Cas and his war in Heaven. It's obvious he's doing something extremely wrong, and while we sort of got a hint/teaser about it last episode, I'm not entirely certain I know what's going on yet, and I reeeeeally wanna know. The fact that he's lying about it just makes it all the more exciting.
Promo for next week was awesome. Finally the confrontation with Mother, and hopefully some answers as to what's going on with her. Tense promo though, with all the blood and screaming and stuff. Can't wait for the end of next week, for more reasons now than just it'll be the end of classes...
