It's a technique called cross-processing. Originally it was achieved by using the "wrong" chemicals to develop certain types of film, but you can do it pretty easily with photoediting software like Photoshop or GIMP. There's lots of tutorials online about it, but I mainly just mess about with "Curves" layers until I like what I see :) I think I also upped the contrast and I definitely added a vignette to this one. You should try it! Especially with that fancy new camera of yours! Do you have/use any software for editing?
