Just had a fantastic Easter break - Jason and I spent 5 days down in Margaret River with a whole cast of friends (including jobaby, abouttheboy, murg, scherpie, thetsar82) and made a number of new friends too - all up I think there was 24 of us staying in a big house together :) It was also Jason's birthday, so we celebrated it while we were down there - and there was cake ( Read more... )

Gralyn is wonderful. I very much like their red that is best served chilled. I'm jealous. I haven't been down south with a large number of people for aaaages. Must organise it later this year.

Haha. We were down there too. I bought from Moss Brothers and Gralyn :P It's a shame Gralyn's 'big red' wines cost such a ridiculous amount ;)
Also picked up a pile of Xanadu end of line for the low low price of $10/bottle ;)

There's something magical about Margaret River. I grew up outside of Nannup so I know the area pretty well, but once you're on the road between Cowaramup and Margaret River there's something in the roll of the land, the shape of the trees and the way you feel that's unique. It makes me disinterested in our local equivalent - Napa Valley. So contrived. So mediocre.

IRC was one of the first chat programs I used when I got the interweb when I was 11 or 12 I think - back then saying you were 13 was really cool. I met heaps of great people, one I still keep in contact with and the others kind of went off the deep end of we've just seperated. I fire it up every now and again during the Big Brother season for our Behind Big Brother channel, which is now the biggest channel on oz.org! woo hoo!

XDCC bots are still the shit, too. Bless old DALNET.
