You're not the first friend that has raised an eyebrow about the Beeb's coverage of this bit of showbiz trivia -I refuse to call it news. Auntie isn't what she used to be. Then again, any bit of gossip fodder keeps the the average viewer distracted from more pressing issues like the 150 thousand birds killed in a spot of avian flu at a poultry farm and so on.
