Funny none of you noticed it wasn't me, but then, I guess I am a huge nerd, so there's really no reason you should have noticed. hahaha pretty much everything which he wrote is true anyways, in some skewed sense

the beach pictures are blue cos you must have had your camera's "light" settings to something like "indoor bulb" lighting.

light from bulbs are normally more reddish-orange. the camera compensates by slamming in a whole lot of blue in order to offset the orange-effect. and the only reason why i know this is because i made the same mistake before. :P~

woops. forgot to mention,,, if your camera happens to be one of those automatic fuji digital cameras, it'll compensate automatically. some of my pictures turned out blue cos the camera thought i was indoors. stupid camera.

great photos! yeah the blue is because of the white balancing done with your camera. your cam has automatic white balancing settings (daylight, cloudy, incandescent/tungsten, flourescent etc.) and maybe a manual white balance setting also. it basically changes the way the camera looks at the image and corrects the color under whatever light source it is in. most of the time, outdoor photos come out a little more bluer than you would think.

this is similar to when you use regular film cameras and add filters on the lens to adjust the colors.
