I still can't comment on CC but I thought this bit of snark was too delicious to just leave unsaid.

Someone commented, in a discussion of varying philosophies:

Besides, I'd expect worm- and virus-writers to call their wares "explorer" to appear normal. How can you be sure that your explorer (fear-of-god-compulsion) isn't a well-disguised piece of malicious code leading you astray (unholy temptation wrapped up in self-righteousness)?

Furthermore, isn't the whole emphasis on "fear" soooooo Old Testament?

Heh, not only that, it's technically false.. you can kill explorer.exe, and (some) other apps can still be running just fine :)
