[As much as Lottie likes receiving gifts, she also loves to spoil her friends -a term that has become very loose while at the Academy- with presents.
Below the respective trees in the commons of Joe West and Hoover Hall are presents addressed to the following, from none other than the bubbly blonde.

You're still a rich white gadji, Lottie, but you're sweet.
Whenever you show up to your room again, you'll see a big brightly-colored present on your bed with a picture of a Mardi Gras mask drawn on it. When you touch it, even without opening it, it'll explode in a cloud of sweet-smelling pink smoke, and when the smoke clears, it'll leave a vase (a bright multicolored ribbon with bells tied tight around it) with a bushel of roses. You like pink, right? Well, that's the color flower he's giving.
One good turn deserves another, especially when earning trust.]

She's just about as excited as can be as she opens it.
Needless to say, her scream can be heard all throughout Hoover... and then some. She frightens rather easily at unexpected noises like a chihuahua. But she's pleasantly surprised when she sees the roses.]
Oh, they're beautiful! [And she'll leave her room to go find a nice spot in her dance studio to show them off~. Thanks, Clopin!]

He carefully places them under the tree and hopes you like it.]

As for Dug, she leaves him a simple, bouncy little red ball beneath Joe West's tree.
She spots the bag left there for her, and should have immediately felt embarrassed to receive such a childish gift. She should have. But for some reason as soon as she unwraps the toy, something stirs within her. Her lip begins to tremble, and soon, without warning, she's in tears. Embarrassed and confused by her emotions, she covers her face and slips out of the room, hoping no one else saw her ( ... )

She swallows down a sob and clears her throat, trying to answer best she can, but her voice still trembles.]

Jane, honey, are you alright?

....until she spots the one intended for her.
Well.
Well, well, well... now this she wasn't expecting! She still couldn't care less about this silly human celebration, but by Triton, she was delighted! She snatches up the goods greedily. Apparently knowing and humoring that little blonde twit had paid off.
Later young Charlotte will find a note of thanks upon her door from her dear "Auntie."]

She'll just stick the lovely little note on her bulletin board and keep it there. <3]

He feels bad because he didn't think to make you a gift, but he's still going to spend some time sipping the awesomely good coffee and relaxing before writing a very nice thank you note and putting it on Lottie's door. He'll make sure to give her a gift next time... once he thinks of what to give her.]

And no worries about not having a gift, Don! She loves thank-you notes; in fact, his will end up right next to Ursula's on her bulletin board.]
