If not for Aqua's armor clanking against the old wood floors, she wouldn't have realized that someone had returned. The sound was out of place, worrisome, alien. She hurries around the corner just in time to see Aqua's door close.
...Several different explanations run through her head, and none of them she likes. Charlotte scurries to the door and knocks lightly.]
A-Aqua? Are you in there?

If she says something, maybe the blonde will want to come in? But, she can't! Not with Aqua looking the way she does. But if she doesn't say anything, Lottie might continue to knock and draw more attention.....tough call.]

It's such a relief to hear that familiar voice. For the moment, some of the fear parading in Lottie's head subsides.]

There's a muffled hiss from the bluenette. She has a sports bra on and sweatpants, but she doesn't want to move from her bed. On one hand she could tell Don to come in, a bad idea since she wants to handle her wounds on her own. Or get up, slowly get up and walk to the door. Then there's option three, not saying anything. But that would make him worry so...option two seems to be the best choice.]

[She calls out, slowly rising to her feet to walk to her door. She just needs to grab a sweater or something to cover herself up before opening the door.]
