I wish I could just put something like "DITTO MATHIAS, BYE" and swan off into the distance without a backward glance but I think eighteen months here means I'm supposed to give a proper good bye. This probably isn't something anyone was expecting but I've been thinking about this for a couple of months now and it's not a case of I want to leave, it's a case of I've got to, if that makes sense. My inspiration is gone, finito, and there's no point hanging onto a journal that you can't update. I don't have any other characters - I've had more than I can count in my years here and while some have lasted less than a month and others over a year, Gemma's been my favourite and it's kind of fitting that she'll be my last. With that in mind, if you want to know where I am, shoot an email to w_gemma@hotmail.com even if it's for just another face to add onto your list of myspace friends.
I'm not picking the next Gemma. No doubt you'll be getting another pretty soon but getting models to stick around is pretty hard and I'm not hanging around longer than I need to. Danny, you get the flat, don't turn it into a sex den. I'm not naming names but everyone Gemma was friends with or interacted with at all, you're all fantastic and I'll miss you.
