CP and Sheltered classes are finally caught up. Took a few days, but I think it'll be fine as long as we don't get off track anymore. Who wants to take bets on how long it takes before they become totally distracted again?... Paper grading, I really, really wish I could say the same for. I think my dog ate the answer key for the Sheltered ( Read more... )

At least you had a chance to get caught up again...I think I have to start all over again now.

Don't tell the students the dog thing--then they'll expect you to start buying it as a homework excuse. *sighs*

I wish I could help you with finding something fun to do, but I'm exhausted, both from traveling and the homcoming. Good luck with that.

That totally sucks. Sorry t' hear about that.

... y'know, I actually used that once when I was in middle school (and it was true, too!) but it totally backfired. I don't think I'll tell them about this. It's probably around here somewhere, anyway. Might've gotten mixed in with the garbage pile or in the one with the magazines...

Ah, it's cool. I'm sure I'll find something to do besides burn my eyes out grading papers and staring at zillions of red streaks and circles.

It's all right....stuff happens, I guess. *shrugs*

*laughs* I think that's a good idea. No need to have the kids think they can get away with things because "*you* did it!" :)

You could always burn the papers? If you didn't acutally need them, that is.

Yeah, true. *sigh*

Mhm. Besides, 99% of the time that excuse isn't even true anyway.

Maybe when it's cool enough and I need something to feed the fireplace or something. :D;

Aawwww~ Is poor Shishipyon having trouble with his class? I'd help you if it weren't for the pile of tests and projects I have to do as well. I hope your kids aren't causing you too much trouble. :D

And if you want to do something fun, why don't we go out on a date?

Not as much as there was in the beginning, which I am thankful for. They just need to figure out what times to be focused and which times they're allowed to talk and gossip and whatever.

Because--well--... ah, why the hell not?

That's how students are, I'm afraid. Especially the lazier ones.

I was sort of kidding, but hey~ It sounds fun ^__^ When are you free?

I mean, not everyone can talk and work at the same time. Some need it quiet, some need noise. Kinda funny, but I still think that it's just better to get the work out of the way first so you have more time to talk than to talk while working and not finish the assignment on time. Lazy kids, bleh.

Saturday night good for you?
