1. you're basically involved in most everything i wish to be involved in yet lack the funds to do so. i'm living vicariously through you. i am also a huge fan of rover and stella photographs, as well as your zine, LIST.
2. zines. lists.
3. everything mentioned in #1
4. maybe the next time you visit chicago!
5. how difficult was it fixing up the loft you lived in with daniel and how did you score such an awesome place?
the loft we lived in was awesome for about a month or two. it had its upsides but mostly it was a draining living situation. it could have been amazing, but because of the landlord and other things out of our control, the building had a ton of downsides. mainly, a super sketchy drug dealing landlord that wasn't involved in actually helping the building in any way. bad neighbors. having to pay our sketchy neighbors for the utilities bill because we weren't metered separate, etc. not to mention not having real walls. we had very high ceilings so we could only build walls halfway up. it cost about 100 to make cheap wall dividers. out of two by fours and sheetrock. about 40 bucks in paint. it took some time but it made it a lot nicer.
i guess i was referring to your education when i mentioned funds. i just can't get myself to take out another loan as i am still paying off my one year at columbia (i attended in 2005) and am fixated on going to school for illustration and animation. i suppose you having already attended and graduated is something i envy.
i would love to fix up a loft to live in and have the space to work on projects, but from what i've been told, it seems like it may just be less aggravation (and more private) to rent out a work space instead. thanks for sharing!
2. american science and surplus, the CTA, especially the green line (considering you being the only reason i took that route), IIT, stolen bowling shoes and of course, PIZZA.
3. i like your spunk, actually you remind me of spunky. you know, rocko's modern life? his dog. that's what i like about you. you remind me of a cartoon dog.
4. remember that time before we got old and didn't see each other? like the times we would explore chicago, hit on babes, eat lots of stuff and talk about LEDs.
5. why are you so short all of the time and can i borrow your shoes?
