but because I was was certain I had misstepped in compromising Mr. Bond's secrecy

Oh, they were so uptight about it back then I don't doubt it was some bored mailboy downstairs.

(ooc: I couldn't resist.)

Hey Wesley,

I know you're off soul searching or whatever right now, and that's great, but I was kind of hoping maybe you're getting close to finding yourself soon? I don't want to rush you or anything, but there's this thing going on, and I think we might really need your help with it soon.

You remember that scroll a few years ago, with the shoeshine prophecy about Angel getting to be human again? Well, we need it again. We found it, but it's really protected right now, so we haven't been able to get it yet. I think we might go back next week sometime, and if we manage to get it out, we're going to need help translating it. And since you're already familiar with it, and you're so good at that language stuff, I was hoping you might be able to come back and help?

It's okay if you can't. We still have books here, and I'm sure Angel and I can figure it out.

Stop laughing. We totally could if we wanted to!

Okay, maybe we couldn't. Help please?

Love you!
Cordelia

ooc: Hey there! :) Sorry I didn't think to contact you ( ... )

Cordelia --

Of course. I just need to wrap up a few pieces of business here in Oregon, but I can easily be on the road today.

I do hope you all know what you are doing. Obviously, I'd like you to get the matter wrapped up as soon as possible, but if you face any particularly vexing textual quandaries, I do sort of hope you'll save them for me!

Yours -

-Wes

Wes,

That's great! Whenever you can get here is fine. And trust me, you can have ALL the textual quandaries. I'd rather stay quandary-free if I can help it.

See you soon!

Cordy
