Intro post

Angel? I don't suppose you'd care to explain what we did, three years ago, that would make the senior partners of Wolfram and Hart simultaneously angry enough to throw me unceremoniously out of the office, and too scared to do anything else ( Read more... )

Yes, of course, I. . .

Didn't I see you at the Halloween party last. . .no, I guess three autumns ago?

The Senior Partners would like it known that they do not do 'scared'.

Also, their plans occur on time-scales and in dimensions of complexity inconceivable by human minds and, as such, one can not hope to correctly predict, truly understand, or be properly aware of any actions they may or may not be performing at any particular moment.

All things serve their will. Except pop-tarts.

Hi Wes. You're not homeless. We're moving back to the Hyperion and you have a home there. The rest...we should catch up.

Angel! I -- thank you, yes, I would. . .it's been a long time since I was based out of the Hyperion, you know, but. . .well, lots of rooms, I'd gladly take you up on . . .

Thank you.

Who's 'we'?

Depending on when you got your debriefing, Harmony might not have known the latest which is that supposedly, Brangelina got married this weekend to fulfill Angelina's mother's dying wish.

...And I should really be out, uh, slaying something.

So that's why Harmony was texting me! I think she ran out of spaces trying to spell 'Brangelina.'

Thank you for the update.

And how is life treating you? I hope and trust you're as resilient as ever.

Probably. Though, it hasn't been confirmed or anything officially. Weird. I never thought Harmony Kendall and I would have so many of the same things in common. Except I don't know who Gavin Park is, so technically we only have two things in common. A penchant for occasional celebrity gossip and American Idol.

You're welcome. :)

Life is... well, you know. I got kidnapped by Judas Iscariot on my birthday a few weeks ago. He tried to do the whole, sacrifice the original Slayer to tip the good/evil balance and bring forth Armageddon now thing. We stopped him though. (Obviously.) It's not like we could kill him, but let's just say, he's no longer walking the Earth until the end of the world.

Other than that, I'm bored. I slay, I patrol, I do my part. But there's a lot more where I came from now, and well, it just doesn't seem to matter so much anymore whether I do it or not. What about you?

Judas Iscariot? I'm trying to sound surprised but it's hard to be surprised after the lives we've led. . .

I wish I'd been there!

As for me, I believe I'm going to be working with Angel and Cordelia again, in Los Angeles.

Sure. You're the nice guy who talked to my parents before I came up and your boss kicked us out.

Sorry, just messing with you. Yes. All the memories came back that day.

Ahh.

So.

*Wesley isn't sure what else to say. He noticed from what Cordelia let slip that there was no mention of Connor living with Angel and Darla. That doesn't necessarily mean they're on bad terms, though. The boy must be an adult by now. Finally, Wesley settles on banality*

I hope you're well.
