I've always held your analytically introspective thought process in high regard. Indeed, sometimes I feel people rely too heavily on the opinions of others to make important decisions when, in the end, they themselves are the only ones who must live with their choices for all eternity.

While I find listening to the opinions of others helpful for putting various things in perspective, when all is said and done, I must do what I feel is correct.

Also, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "the ideals of the west", but I'm hoping it involves chaps.
