Two lovely sets of Ava Gardner icons, one from jordannamorgan and one from chokolattejedi

A Jeff/Rowan story (Anne McCaffrey) from merfilly

And lot of holiday/new year wishes. ani_bester's Bucky/Natasha New Year's piece was pretty.

Glad you like the icons! They were a lot of fun to make. The pictures I found of Gardner seemed to lend themselves well to your interests (Catwoman, mythology, etc.), so I tried to work with that.

And thank you so much for the IOU. It really was the only thing in my stocking that I'm excited about. Can't wait to see what you've come up with. :)

Another Dell Inspiron. They were having a sale on Saturday, which helped.

Nyargh. I wish I'd known you were in the market, I could have given some really useful advice. Namely, don't get an Inspiron! Get a Latitude, and make sure it can get Pro Support and 3-yr warranty as an addon. That broken hinge on your old one? they would have come to your house to fix it! And you wouldn't have had to spend on a new lappie. As long as you're not trying to game on it (as in anything intense, not the flash games you play), it would have worked well for you and you'd be protected against anything whatsoever going wrong

The laptop shipped today, so swapping is a no-go. It'll be here on Thursday. I did however get their "full support" for a year when I bought the computer, rather than the basic.
