Today I noticed on our company intranet that there's a concert coming up by a band called "Double Funk Crunch". Just from the name I can tell this is the sort of hippie jam band that I would hate. So, yesterday I got a promotion...I am now "Senior Manager, Research and Technology".

Wai-Kuen, Robin, Amanda, and I went to a fondue restaurant called Matterhorn tonight to pig out on cheesy, chocolaty goodness.  If you're in San Francisco, both the "Ooh La La" and the "Highlander" are delicious.  Skip the side orders of mushrooms and potatoes and just go for the apples and sausage ( Read more... )
