Hehe, Updates
Hm, I should probably make it a habit to post here at least once a week. So here is how my life has been up to now:
First off, I'm no longer in student housing from my school, because two weeks before last semester was supposed to end, the building we lived in said we were being moved out to another building that would require we share a room, (this previous building we had our own room and bathroom). Since our leases were going to be up anyway, one of my roommates and I quickly found another apt complex to live in that wasn't student housing.
So now I have to pay half the rent, (which includes utilities except electric), half the internet/cable bill, and half the electric. If I didn't get refund checks, this would be impossible with me still having no job. (I'm going to be working on it over summer break. Need a temp job if not internship.)
Not long after this semester started, I got a kitten which I have named Prowl. Images of him are posted here, here, here, here, here, and here.
He's a very vocal kitty to say the least. But I haven't been able to take him to the vet just yet. Hoping to do so while on break.
Also, this semester has been particularly hard, but since I'm a senior it's to be expected. Normally I'd do well with the challenges, but I have sort of lacked the motivation since my father's passing. And I really want to get back into writing again.
Lastly, my brother is moving back to Texas with his fiance. I'm happy that he's found someone, and is finally getting to go back to the place he loves, but I'm going to miss him terribly while he's there. At least it's a positive reason to visit Texas again. When I get the chance to anyway.
Needless to say I've been going through a lot of changes, trying to sort out how I feel, and getting resettled into a new life. So far, things are fine, but I know more change is needed.
Artwork wise I've been improving. This semester I took a web designing class and learned how to use Dreamweaver. After getting a web host, I now have my own site, but it's still under construction so I'll post the link to it later when I feel it's more presentable.
The site itself will feature original artworks and animations. It's my portfolio after all.
