Shopping is like some sort of special torture. Magnify that by the lunacy that people seem to possess around the festive season, and multiply that figure by the amount of hot, stuffy air that the Rideau Centre pumps into its heating ducts, and you will have a brief glimpse of how arduous my trip was yesterday.
