We bought a new one about 18 months ago at Lowes or Home Depot...Husqvarna...It's German. So far so good, but we've never gotten a real long life out of most lawnmowers. Not like we have a huge yard or abuse lawnmowers, but they don't last more than 5 years in our world.
Husqvarna is German? I didn't think they used "q"s in their words. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation.
Family's all doing pretty well. MaryAnn's about the same as always, although she just got over another case of diverticulitis. My daughter is back from Israel and is now working on a farm about an hour outside of NYC. My older son is working 2 jobs and managing to fit in a theater production here and there. Jamie is finishing up his last year at his current school; he starts at a new one next semester. I brought him to the dentist last week, and I was shocked and pleased that he did so wonderfully!!! He was actually better than I normally am in the dentist chair. If I was on here regularly, I would have posted about it.
What's up with Wolf Boy? I suppose I could simply read your journal to find out, but I'm heading to bed soon.
Wolf Boy made it through 6th grade and the graduation ceremony. His 2 finest moments this year were: 1- The Flour Sack Baby Project. I made him a "modified" baby to carry around...lest he drop a 5 lb flour sack down the stairs! He adored his "kid" and carried her around with pride! He especially had fun teaching his baby how to go pee! What a hoot! 2- He and a buddy did a music video for his bagpipe project. They had to research about the instrument and a musician who plays pipes, and then w my husband's help we filmed the boys playing their hand made bagpipes, (made from fabric, stuffing and gift wrap tubes), around the school. They rocked and for what may be the only time in their lives, those 2 guys had the kick ass project that everyone was talking about! They were famous! P.
