Do you know how to feels to have a drunken parent slam you against a door and feel the doorknob hit your spine so hard you feel like it snapped in half? To have them scream in your face how useless and worthless you are, how they wish no one would ever find your body, and when you open your mouth to protest they slap you so hard you bleed

You know, if you think you could really use some time away from your mom, you could stay at my house for as long as you feel you need to, and I'm not just saying that to have something to offer.
