I noticed that Harry didn't give his "she's like a sister to me" talk... but I think that's because the writers want to push the theoretical love triangle a bit more. The dancing and all those other Harry-and-Hermione moments add to this as well. I think it's an okay strategy given the story is being split across two movies. The tension will stew a bit longer than it did in the book, but I'm sure Harry will still have that conversation with Ron eventually.

Also, I loved the bit with Hermione's parents -- it was very sad, but very well done. (Although I do wonder what they'll make of all those empty frames!) That and the scene of Harry in the cupboard under the stairs were probably my favorite things that this movie added that we didn't get to see in the book.
