The same singing flower seen in season 3 of The L Word, albeit purple and monocotyledonous.
A sunshine song; quite the misnomer, given its full lyrics. Perhaps that is why we have grown only to a familiar chorus. Because the song is sad? Not necessarily. Maybe because those are the only lines that matter.
