My nose has randomly bled twice tonight. I haven't had a nosebleed since I was like, 5.....so I think it might be the stress. Because seriously, this has been the most stressful time in my life...and the nosebleed when I was 5 was a result of my face being in the way of a slamming door....so technically I have never had any unprovoked nosebleeds ( Read more... )

They used to say tilt your head back and pinch your nose (by pinch your nose, it means high up on the nose too). But they actually found it's better to lean forward, as you can swallow blood, etc. Not sure if that's mainly just for kids though, cos kids can drown in the blood if they lean back for long enough and are bleeding for long enough. But whatever tickles ya fanny, really.

My nose bled every few days when I was on the Roaccutane - just another of it's magnificent side-effects.

But yeah, do what Trevski said and that'll fix it.

i get them when i have really bad sinus and i always put my head forward like trevski said.

i've had a provoked nose bleed too. i was punched and had a broken one.

slamming doors are the worst. haha.....my face was like in the perfect position to be hit too...and it was all so sudden...i should have known better =P
