What isn't good is that rather than, say, Black Cat, or any character that would benefit from an attractive female playing her, she's going to be... The Vultress. Or so internet rumors suggest

On the one hand, it's got tons of style and looks clever and funny. But so far, all I've seen is tons of style and Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law being gay for each other. I don't know if the actual plot or characterization is any good.

I refuse to accept internet rumors on The Vultress. Raimi is not infallible, but he wouldn't invent an idiotic gender switch on a villain when he has so many good ones to work with.

It could be mandated by the studio/distributors. I understand that's why they put three different bad guys in Spiderman 3.`

Raimi's already stated on record that there will be ONE villain in Spider-man 4, and it's the Lizard.
