Partly why I chose to reboot "The Nolans". Some of the early stuff that was on the web was bad enough, but I've recently gone through some comics I did in high school, and I can't believe how bad they really are, both the writing and the art. The Nolans was, quite honestly, just a Simpsons rip-off (GASP!), and even though I tried to get away from that later on, it's something that dogged the strip until I finally killed and resurrected it as something that (at least today) is a lot better.

But I agree with you. Five years from now, we'll probably be looking back, wondering what we were thinking.
