Oh this was just... lovely, so lovely. The juxtaposition of Rodney-before-meeting-John and Rodney-with-John really bring home how Rodney's changed, how John has come to be the most important thing in his life and how *aware* of that Rodney is, especially when faced with the momentary fear of losing it. Beautiful.
