So my visit to new paltz and trip away from Syracuse has been pretty amazing. Spending time with lauren takes the top of the list, as well as being able to spend (even if it was short) time with my best friends. Bowling with Laurzilla, Dr Zeus, and (A)mish kicked ass. Especially when Dr. Zeus called the guy at the register a dick for refusing to sell us shoes cuz (A)mish "could have possibbly stolen those bowling shoes" from an establishment that does business with Ho Bowls bowling shoe supplier. We told his ass and he later appologized and gave us each a free Ho Bowling ticket.
Chillin in LI was dope, espcially cuz the cats at Karen's and Laurens parent's place didnt phase me cuz i have hard core allergy pills. Watchin my brotha (from another motha like Mel Gibson and Danny Glova) Freespace tear it up at The Long Island CoOp was amazing. I was so glad i got to see him perform. The only thing better than his style and flow is his message. His shit is tight and his rhymes are really inspiring. Its funny seeing Edge perform after spending so much time with him outside his role as an Emcee. I feel so lucky to have met edge. The only person to have introduced me to so much good music in such a short time is prolly Lauren. Between the two of them my taste in music has completely changed... for the better prolly..ok definately
I was very grateful to have been able to see Rachel before she took off to India. Im sure she is going to have a good time there and Im excited for her. She is really doing something amaizing with her life, which is really inspiring. I wish her all the best. NP isnt gonna be the same without her.
Batman Begins. Best Batman Movie ever. EVER. Really dope. I almost pissed myself watching it. And that is not an exageration. I had to run out of the theatre just after the climax of the whole movie, knocked over Jondi's drink, and ran over three little kids to get to the bathroom. sick movie. Gonna follow that movie up with another Cristian Bale movie; the Machinist. hope its good.
spendin time with Lauren Rocks. No wonder i feel like im losing my mind in Syracuse. its cuz i miss this girl like crazy. So i was trying to think of a good Emcee name for lauren. All i could come up with is Miss JC. or Miss Jcup. Laurzilla is prolly better than either one of those. yeah..so packin shit up here and workin to get ready to move is a pain but its all good. Im excited about moving to a new place..part of me is gonna miss this place though.
