A Simple Question... I hope

If I put in an entry with a date from the future on it, will you, the innocent reader, be able to see it as soon as I post it, or will you see it on the day of the entry's date?

To do this, do I have to mark that the entry is backdated? Or will that not allow it to show at all? Ok so how do I do this?
