I don't think he had the wool pulled over his eyes. I think Te'o is in on it -- his "I was duped" is the current equivalent of "the nanny did it

I can't believe it but I just re-read the whole msscribe saga. I got sucked in again. It's just as fascinating as ever. Scribbles makes these people (person? Eh, whatever) look like amateurs.
