(no subject)
My brother's BFF Michael (who is sometimes known as my fake brother Mike and is in a band with my real brother Drew) asked me to make a concert poster for their upcoming show on April 7th. Last night, Rowan and I got out the art supplies and drew for hours. Sadly, after two hours, the end result should be more impressive than it is.
For what it's worth, I am left-handed and afraid of smudging, so had to take more time on things because of that and I had to write everything near perfectly.
Is this a totally lame design or do Rowan and I need to draw all night again tonight? I did have some other ideas which included grids, as they (the band) are big on grids. I guess we shall see. I don't know why I care so much, but I do. Maybe because I used to be actually quite creative and kind of a good artist (I looked through all my art class stuff last night, and I was good, just not so much anymore), and now it takes me two hours to essentially draw a circle. Maybe I care because I like to do things well and I don't have the confidence anymore to know if something that I do is good. Or even good enough. Sad!
