due to the most collosal miscommunication between cmu and i there is a chance i might be a temporary college drop out.

i am having a panic attack now... no seriously.. i am....

oh god.

plus im nearly over my phone minutes so i cant call and freak out to my mom

my apartment and my life are a mess.

somewhere in the mess of paperwork i forgot to sign a paper... not like one of those no big deal BS papers, like, a big one. so my classes must be paid for by the ninth and the problem wont be straightened out until a week or so after. the great staff we have in the fin. aid dept. has not been very helpful thus far (when asking her if there was a chance this would be worked out before they dropped my classes she goes, "i wouldn't bank on it") so unless i can get a hold of someone resonable soon i "get" to take a semester off. so right now it's all up in the air but im sure things will work out in the end. or at least that's what im telling myself to get through this junk.

That is crazy shit... you would think that maybe when they noticed that you forgot to sign something or other they might have called to make sure whether it was a mistake or not. That could have been smart and considerate!

I suppose you'll just have to get a job and live up here if it doesn't work out.
