There are tons of those cranes all around Newark Bay here in NJ. I lived near it when I was a little kid. I used to marvel at them whenever we drove past them.

There is something other-worldly about them.

There is, especially when the sky behind them is dimming from the sunset or a storm. I love it.

Interestingly (or maybe not), this port was where the climactic scene in Iron Man 3 was filmed. I was thinking recently about how I'd miss those when I one day no longer live in that neighborhood, but I guess I can go back and revisit via cinema.
